Growth Mindset Classroom Guidance Lesson for Elementary School Counseling
This classroom guidance lesson begins with a fun, interactive activity to demonstrate the important of growth mindset! You'll need large marshmallows or any other item for a hands-on task (you can simply create a paper-based task if marshmallows are not available). Review a ready-to-show PowerPoint presentation and then create a large bulletin board display to encourage students to leave the fixed mindset forest and go growth mindset gazing!
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, ready-to-show PowerPoint presentation, printable images and letters for bulletin board display or for individual display (you'll need butcher paper or construction paper), and objectives assessment checklist.
