  • $1.50

This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson gives students the opportunity to practice interpreting feelings based on facial expressions. 2 game options are included so the lesson can be used with Pre-K/Kindergarten students and grades 1-2. Use pineapple emoticons for a bean bag toss game or music chairs to let students identify emotions and share about times when they have experienced those emotions.

Students create their own pineapple emoticons in a simple craft that also makes a great bulletin board display!

Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), simple set of pineapple emoticons, advanced set of pineapple emoticons, pineapple craft printable, objectives assessment checklist, optional "Today I feel..." printables for students to make desk displays (includes simple 7-emotion set and advanced 14-emotion set), and 3 pineapple "How are you feeling today?" posters.
