Inferring Emotions Classroom Guidance Lesson Digital Activity School Counseling

  • $5.00

This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson introduces students to 3 ways they can infer how others are feeling. Review this concept using a digital, paperless activity (compatible with Google Slides TM). Students look at clipart children and reach statements to use body language, facial expressions, and verbal clues to figure out how others are feeling! They are able to tap and drag feeling words in an interactive digital activity and then work in small groups to decide how they can respond to peers once they have figured out how they are feeling.

Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, ready-to-show Google Slides (TM) presentation, link to digital activity (opens with Google Slides TM), small group handout (4 versions), and objectives assessment checklist.

This lesson includes my Inferring Emotions Digital Activity. What's the difference between these two resources? This resource includes a lesson plan, pre-test/post-test, and 4 small group handout options. The Inferring Emotions Digital Activity includes only digital Google Slides (TM) presentation and activity (best suited for individual counseling).
