SMART Goals Classroom Guidance Lesson with SMART Goals Activity and Craft
This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson introduces students to the components of SMART goals and how to break long-term goals into manageable short-term goals! Student set their own long-term academic and/or social-emotional goals and identify 2 short-term goals as well. Students create a beach bucket craft with a "bucket list" goal for the year!
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, 2 ready-to-show PowerPoints, SMART goal checklist, student craft, and objectives assessment checklist. Additional materials needed: 1 beachball.
