Personal Space Counseling Activities: Personal Space Centers

  • $4.00

Personal Space Counseling Activities - These personal space centers are perfect for helping your Kindergarten students review and identify what personal space looks like. Use the included song (sing it to the tune of The Wheels on the Bus) and then choose centers to use for your rotations! These are perfect for a Kindergarten classroom counseling lesson or small group counseling activities.

What's included:

  • Instructions
  • Song printable (have your students make up hand gestures or add your own)
  • Multiple center options - no reading required!
  • Color and black/white printing options
  • "Personal space" and "Bubble space" verbiage options

Additional materials needed:

  • Coloring utensils
  • Pencils
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Optional: play dough

How I use these centers: After reading a story about personal space, we sing the included song for a movement break! Then, I divide students into 6 small groups of 4-5 students (their seats are naturally divided this way). 2 groups do the Clip Center, 2 groups do the Cut & Paste Center, and 2 groups do the Find, Draw, & Trace Center. Students rotate through centers on a 10-minute intervals. Early finishers can do Play Dough Center while they wait to rotate.
