Drug Prevention Classroom Guidance Lesson for School Counseling

  • $1.00

This classroom guidance lesson addresses drug prevention for upper elementary-aged students. Acknowledge that students know drugs are not healthy and discuss reasons people choose to use drugs anyway. Students share the people, goals, and values that have that encourage them to stay away from drugs in #mywhy activity.

I use this lesson with 6th grade, but it is appropriate for grades 5-6. Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), 2 exemplars, student handout, and objectives assessment checklist.
