Friendship Classroom Guidance Lesson for Early Elementary/Primary Counseling
This classroom guidance lesson introduces students to 5 qualities of a great friend as they meet the friendliest hippo, Hector! A short story introduces honesty, inclusion, positivity, peaceful resolution, and observing others' feelings as key components of friendship. Students participate in a movement-based activity to practice including others and then create a tabbed book to write about or draw how they can demonstrate the 5 qualities!
