This classroom guidance lesson introduces students to basic calming yoga poses (or stretches) to implement when feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious! Lead students through 8 basic poses and then debrief about mind and body feelings. Students create a folding book to reference later when they want to practice yoga. Includes a yoga version and "stretching" version if you prefer to not use the term yoga.

Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, ready-to-show PowerPoint, folding book printable, and objectives assessment checklist.
