  • $3.00

This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson introduces students to the role of the school counselor! Use a ready-to-show or editable PowerPoint to tell students what the counselor does and does not do. Review this role using a digital, paperless activity (compatible with Google Slides) or with true/false cards in a movement-based cooperative group game or non-competitive activity. Students then create a s'mores craft to review the counselor's role!

Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, ready-to-show PowerPoint, editable PowerPoint, link to digital activity (opens with Google Slides), true/false game cards and mat, student craft, and objectives assessment checklist.

This lesson includes my Meet the Counselor Digital Activity for Back to School. What's the difference between these two resources? This resource includes a lesson plan, pre-test/post-test, and 2 printable handout options. The other includes only a PPT and digital Google Slides activity.
