Program Description

In this one-hour professional development webinar, school counselors will build a practical, sustainable progress monitoring system grounded in evidence-based practice. Participants will learn how to collect meaningful clinical and program data in approximately 90 additional seconds per student per session.

This session is designed for counselors who want to use data to guide decisions and demonstrate impact without creating an overwhelming documentation burden. Participants will learn how to select efficient progress monitoring tools, embed data collection into counseling activities already taking place, and use the information gathered to make informed decisions about intervention effectiveness and next steps. The focus is on creating systems that are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with the realities of school-based practice.

  • Select appropriate progress monitoring tools based on clinical context, goal type, and available time.

  • Build a simple, sustainable progress monitoring system embedded in existing clinical work rather than added on top of it.
