Acceptance Classroom Guidance Lesson for Elementary School Counseling
This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson asks students to pretend they've never seen a "mystery object" (pineapple) before and make inferences about it's purpose by simply looking at the outside of it. Students learn that judging something (or someone!) by its outward appearance leads to missing out on the sweet stuff on the inside. Students create a folding pineapple craft to share a piece of themselves with the group to promote unity and acceptance!
Optional additional supplies: bring a real pineapple(s) to enhance the lesson!
