Session Description

In this 1-hour recorded webinar, you’ll learn what mental health literacy (MHL) looks like in the school setting and how to make it a shared responsibility instead of something that lives only in the counseling office.

We’ll walk through the pillars of mental health literacy and explore practical strategies to:

  • Teach students foundational mental health concepts in age-appropriate ways

  • Create classroom and school environments that normalize emotions and coping

  • Reduce stigma and shame around mental health needs

  • Help staff feel more confident talking with students about how they’re doing

  • Promote connectedness, help-seeking, and early intervention
