Kick off with the Feelings Football players! This matching activity is perfect for emotion identification in elementary school! Students read a statement inside the goal post, determine how the speaker is feeling, find the football with the correct emotion word, and then find the Feelings Football player with the appropriate facial expression! These are great for individual counseling, small group counseling, or centers in whole group classroom guidance lessons any time of year!
