Perseverance Classroom Guidance Lesson for Elementary School Counseling
This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson give students a chance to engage in perseverance tasks! Use camp-themed partner pairing cards to create student pairs to play a fun marshmallow-tossing game. Gradually increase difficulty and debrief about what motivates us to keep working and how we can encourage one another to persevere toward long-term goals.
Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, partner pairing cards, and objectives assessment checklist. Additional materials needed: plastic cups and mini marshmallows.
