Responsibility Classroom Guidance Lesson for Elementary School Counseling

  • $2.50

This elementary school classroom guidance lesson encourages students to consider statements that blame others for our own mistakes or choices. In a movement-based activity using Google Slides (TM), students read 2 statements and decide which statement is blaming. Students tap and drag the bug spray to buzz off blaming! A printable version is included for counselors who do not have access to Google Slides (TM) during lesson. For additional practice, student work in small groups or individually to rephrase blaming statements into responsibility-taking statements.

Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline/script, materials list, ASCA standards alignment, suggested process, perception, and outcome data), pre-test/post-test, Google Slides (TM) activity with blank slides to create your own statements, printable version of Google Slides (TM) activity, student handout for extra practice, and objectives assessment checklist.
