Program Description: In this session, we’ll review social skill development. We’ll also cover evidence-based strategies for teaching social skills and practical activities for school counseling.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will be able to identify social skills that are developmentally appropriate in elementary-aged students
• Participants will be able to identify evidence-based instructional strategies for teaching these skills in the counseling setting
