Program Description: In this session, we’ll review executive function skills and how they develop in elementary- and middle-grades students. We’ll also cover direct instruction strategies and support interventions for counseling.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to identify executive functions skills that are relevant to elementary- and middle-grade students
  • Participants will be able to identify appropriate instructional strategies for teaching these skills in the counseling setting
