Winter SEL Centers: Winter Counseling Activities for Classroom Counseling
Winter Counseling Activities - These SEL centers are perfect for winter counseling lessons in 1st-3rd grade. Students will practice linking emotions to experiences, share more about their personal experiences, practice working together with a partner, and identify things that bring them joy. Use these centers together for a winter classroom counseling lesson or separately for small group counseling activities or individual counseling activities!

- Coloring utensils
- Pencils
- Glue
- Scissors
- Brick blocks such as LEGO (R) brand
- Calming items typically found in a calm down kit/corner (such as stress balls, fidgets, etc.)

A: You'll need the items listed above.
Q: How long will this take?
A: Students can rotate through all 6 centers over the course of 2 40-minute counseling lessons if using them in a whole group lesson. Each center takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

A: Absolutely!
