Calming Strategies Activities: This 2-lesson set includes classroom guidance lessons and centers on calming the body and mind. Students will learn about body signs that let them know their emotion level is elevating and practice strategies to relieve the physical tension they experience. In the second lesson, students will practice redirecting their thoughts to calm their minds too. After participating in these lessons, students will have 11 body and mind calming strategies to choose from when they face tough situations that result in an elevation in their emotion level.
