Meet the Counselor Classroom Guidance Lesson for Back to School
This classroom guidance lesson introduces the role of the school counselor with fun hashtags! Students then create their own hashtags to describe themselves and introduce themselves to the class or group. This activity is perfect for back to school time or introductory lessons for small groups.
I use this lesson with 6th grade, but it is appropriate for grades 5-6. Includes lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), visual aids, handout, objectives assessment checklist, and optional PowerPoint slides.
