Positive Self Talk Classroom Guidance Lesson for School Counseling
In this self talk school counseling classroom guidance lesson, students consider the ways they talk to and about themselves. Students think about the things they tend to say to themselves in specific situations. Use inflated/deflated balloons to help students understand how the way we talk to ourselves affects our feelings. Then, students complete a whole group activity using balloons to help one another develop positive self talk statements to challenging situations. This is perfect for classroom guidance or for a small group counseling self talk or self esteem lesson for elementary school counseling.
